We will be meeting at the pinic area next to the "Tour Ticket /Greenhouse Potting Shed" building from the start time above to 15 minutes after. Follow the Tour Signs from the parking lot. You will pass right by the picnic area. Walk-ins are WELCOME.... Please feel free to arrive anytime. Just look for a group of people working around the grounds.

Objective:

Pull weeds and plant flowers and other vegetation to preserve a more suitable and natural environment for visitors of the Henry Ford Estate. The weeds we will be pulling are mustard plants, poison ivy, and other unsuitable vegetation or invasive plants.

What to bring:

Wear outdoor cloths such as: Long sleeve shirts, Long pants, Boots, Gloves, Hat, Sunscreen Lotion, Small Hand Shovels or other tools that may be used to pull roots of weeds out-of the ground (though they may be rarely used).

Henry Ford Estate will provide:

Weeds, trash bags.

William will provide:

Lunch, snacks, water, entertainment.

Changes will be sent out via e-mail/phone. However, I encourge you to check this web page for any changes before arriving to the site.
